A Caribbean island with five homes, including a luxurious plantation-style residence, is on the market with an asking price of $85 million. The island is in
Exuma Cay, a district in the
Bahamas that comprises some 360 islands in all. Collectively, the four guest houses and main home have 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms – enough space for more than 20 people. There are also accommodations for employees, including quarters for an engineer, chef, butler and other housekeeping staff.
The private-island lifestyle includes seemingly endless views of the crystal waters of the Caribbean, as well as a fitness center and entertainment and dining facility. The island’s infrastructure includes a water treatment plant, and systems for fuel and power generation and transmission, as well as systems for data and telephones, a warehouse, heliport and dockage for several vessels.
Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, who portrays Captain Jack Sparrow in the
Pirates of the Caribbean franchise series of films, lives on a nearby island known as Little Hall’s Pond Cay.
