Major League Baseball’s Cleveland Indians pitcher Derek Lowe, 38, is selling his
home in the Atlanta area for $3.5 million after being traded from the Atlanta Braves late last year. The two-story
home in the Buckhead section of the city is about 7,700 square feet and has three bedrooms, two laundry rooms, two sub-zero refrigerators in the kitchen, and a common area designed with kid-play in mind. The basement, on the other hand, was made for adults, and includes a bar, wine cellar, cigar room with humidor, and several televisions.
However, one of the most interesting features is in the garage, which transforms into a dance floor and comes complete with a 1960s-era disco ball that once hung in a ballroom in Paris. The home on Peachtree Battle Avenue sits on nearly three-quarters of an acre of land.
