Major League Baseball pitcher Carlos Zambrano has cut the asking price of one of his two
Chicago area homes. Zambrano is now asking $929,000 for the six-bedroom, 13-room
home for sale in River Forest, down from his $969,000 asking price last fall when he listed the property. He purchased the home at the tail-end of the housing boom in 2006 for nearly $1.2 million.
The home was built in 1999 and has six bedrooms, four baths, a spacious recreation room, a loft, and a great room featuring a wall of windows and volume ceilings. Zambrano was traded to the Miami Marlins late last year, leaving to speculation whether he plans to
buy a home in South Florida.
