Just two months after listing his
downtown Miami condos for sale, rapper
Aubrey Drake Graham has sold the homes for $2.4 million – just $100,000 less than his asking price. He purchased the condos in 2011 for $1.9 million.
The buyer of the two side-by-side apartments, which together total 5,500 square feet of living area, is NBA Miami Heat player Mario Chalmers. These
South Florida condos are located in the luxurious Marquis Residences high-rise towers, where amenities include an open-air sky pool, spa and private elevators.

The larger of the two units is a 3,800-square-foot condo with three bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a media room, and is the site where Drake shot his "I'm On One" music video. The other unit is a 1,675-square-foot home with one bedroom, 1.5 baths and a den. The units are combined as one residence and feature 20-foot ceilings, custom soundproof walls, glass walls, marble staircases and balconies overlooking the bay.
Drake came onto the entertainment scene when he played Jimmy Brooks on the television series
Degrassi: The Next Generation. He is a Grammy-nominated recording artist, and recently paid $9 million for a Hidden Hills
mansion near Los Angeles, California.
