
Aerosmith’s iconic lead singer and a judge on TV’s popular “American Idol” show has purchased a
home in Maui for $4.8 million – nearly $2 million less than the asking price. The 3,000-square-foot residence with two bedrooms and 3.5 baths is located on just a quarter-acre of land. The property was listed for $6.5 million.
Tyler’s new
home near Wailea, Hawaii, is situated on a nature preserve area perfect for serene views from the home’s outdoor decks overlooking the coastline. There's also an infinity edge saltwater pool and a floor-to-ceiling aquarium. Napa Valley vineyard owner Fred Constant was the previous owner.
Steven Tyler, 63, has been performing with Aerosmith for more than 40 years. The 11th season of "American Idol" premiered on Fox in January.
