The Miami Dade condo market continues to sizzle this summer. Last week saw 195 closings for a sales volume total of $71,895,808. The average price for a condo was $368,696.46, or $272.91 per square foot.
Miami was the top city with 75 closings for a total sales volume of $20.950 million. Miami Beach followed with 30 sales for a total volume of $17.694 million. Sunny Isles Beach reported 13 transactions for a total of $6.393 million.
The top condo sale this past week was a luxury unit at Portofino Tower in Miami Beach. This three-bedroom, 2,550 square foot condo at 300 South Pointe Drive sold for $3,525,000, or $1,382.35 per square foot. After 126 days on the market, this property was sold by Darryl Fox.
The Miami Dade condo market is expected to continue its hot streak through the summer.
