Following a slow week due to the threat from Hurricane Matthew, sales have bounced back for the Miami-Dade condo market. Last week 123 units closed for a total sales volume of $52.689 million. The average condo sale price was $428,368.58, or an average of $313.05 per square foot.
Miami was the top city with 54 sales this past week for a total volume of $17.074 million. Miami Beach followed with 15 transactions for a total of $9.548 million. Sunny Isles saw 11 sales for a total of $8.929 million.
The week’s top property was a unit at the Majestic Tower in Bal Harbour. The luxury unit located at 9601 Collins Avenue sold for $5,100,000, or $1,017.96 per sq ft. After 62 days on the market, this 5,010 square foot condo was sold by Jill Hertzberg.
As we head through the middle of October, the Miami-Dade condo market continues to look promising.
