CondoWatch Miami: May’s Strong Performance Shows Promise for the Summer

The Miami-Dade County condo market had quite the week to close out the month with 170 units sold (a May high) and a total sales volume of $57 Million. The average condo sold for $337,530 and $258 a square foot. May had an incredible month with 751 condos sold for a total of $316 Million.

The top city this week was once again Downtown Miami with 76 sales for a total sales volume of $18 Million. Miami Beach came in second with 20 sales and a total of $14 Million averaging out to a high $742,112 a square foot.

The top sale this month was located in the South Pointe Tower of Miami Beach. The luxury unit sold for a hefty $3 Million and at 2,226 square feet that prices it at $1,347 a square foot. The condo was sold by Michael Feuling after being on the market for just over four months. The Miami condo market looks promising this summer.
