The Miami-Dade condo market picked up the pace heading into the last week of January. A total of 125 sales closed for a total sales volume of $35,796,069. The average price for a condo was $286,368.55, or $254.29 per square foot.
Miami was the top city with 53 closings for a total of $14.540 million. Miami Beach followed with 19 sales for a total of $7.182 million, while Aventura had 6 transactions for $2.443 million.
The top sale of the week was a penthouse at the Kenilworth in Bal Harbour. This 2,353 square foot unit at 10205 Collins Avenue sold for $1,550,000, or $658.73 per square foot. After 250 days on the market, the unit was sold by Joseph Santoro.
