The Miami Dade condo market finished February with a major statement. Last week saw 193 sales for a whopping sales volume of $145,944,748. The average price for a condo was $756,190.40, or $388.56 per square foot.
Miami Beach was the top city with total sales volume of $58.564 million on a reported 36 closings. Sunny Isles Beach followed with 13 sales for $28.446 million. Miami reported 81 transactions for a total of $27.204 million.
The top condo sale of the week was a penthouse at Mansions at Acqualina in Sunny Isles Beach. This expansive, four-bedroom, 8,470 square foot property at 17749 Collins Avenue sold for an astronomical $17,000,000, or $2,007.08 per square foot. Michael Goldstein sold this condo after being on the market just 33 days.
The Miami Dade condo market is anticipating a great month as we head toward Spring.
