Great Price and Amenities but terrible soundproofing. YOU HEAR EVERYTHING!
I probably have one of the best units in the building on the 2nd floor in the front. The size of the unit is small at 584 sq. ft but the quality of the upgraded amenities was the catch. laminate pergo wood floors, wood blinds and floor to ceiling windows but lacking in storage space. I thought well I could deal with that at the price of $575 a month. <br/><br/>Well, into a week or two later, I noticed I could hear the upstairs tenant walking around and the floor continously shaking and cricking. And no not your normal apartment noise but LOUD walking around, as I could hear every move they made. After noticing that I thought, well maybe that's normal in most apartments but about a month or so later I noticed even more disturbing noises from the bedroom above and pot smoke coming through the vents. (keep in mind I didn't mind the loud music but everything else is a true annoyance. <br/><br/>The room and window in the bedroom was shaking one night and I thought...well maybe it was temor from these gas drillings. Before I stupidly posted that Facebook, I heard the bed from upstairs moving. Yes, the fat a** from upstairs was f***ing and I could hear it. I don't care what people do in their home but when i have to hear it, i'm done. After that it finally dawned on me why the poor guy before moved and why these condos are so cheap. CHEAP FLOORPLATES and SOUNDPROOFING! You hear everything. If that doesn't bother you then this might be your place.
