Not as nice as it used to be
Mulberry House is o.k. but it is not what it has been in the past. Its is now an aging building that takes vast amounts of money just to keep it running. Its not fancy, but the condominium fees are the highest in the Springfield area and continue to go up every year. Its a cold building and does not heat well, electric bills can be over 300 a month in cold weather. The apartments are fairly large except for kitchens that are the size of a walk in closet The best part of it is inside trash disposal , mail and indoor parking, however not all units come with indoor parking, some dont.The units are constantly under repair so there is a lot of construction noise as well as water shut offs for plumbing repairs.. Laundry room washers and dryers are often broken down Its not quiet and noise of slamming doors and music that is too loud travels thru out the building If you live here dont expect a lot.

I have been living here for 2 years now. There has, absolutely, been no loud music or slamming doors. No noise at all. As far as constantly being under construction....well damnnnn where have I been??!!!! Cuz I haven't heard or seen such a damn thing. So not true. The plumbing issue is correct....they r forever, temporarily, shutting off the water for plumbing repairs. The washer and dryers r always malfunctioning. But when they do...I just put in a work order for a repair....and problem solved ...because the machines r repaired almost immediately....simple....as far as my heat bill in the winter....it has been consistently at around $65...and that is just for my electricity....hardly ever have to even put my heater on...because heat rises...and am on the 3rd floor....the person that wrote a review about it constantly being cold ....was more than likely ...elderly....cuz elderly people...for some reason...r always cold....or maybe they just moved here from Florida or something....cuz this darn building is never ever ever cold!!!! How crazy! Again...definitely not true. People just like to gas things up sometimes.....exaggerate. And....yeah the H.O.A. prices go up every year....yeah by $25....I mean ....REALLY NOW??!!!!!!! Please!
