Green Valley Lofts will qualify for the coveted Energy-Star Rating, and it will be the first LEED® certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) mixed-use mid-rise building in Las Vegas, under the criteria set forth by the United States Green Building Council.

A holistic approach was utilized in designing Green Valley Lofts, while considering every detail of the building. The flow of natural light through expansive walls of glass with almost complete absence of solar heat gain, the enjoyment of views of the city and surroundings, the relationship of living space with integrated sound and lighting were considered in the project.

The energy requirements of the building will be significantly reduced, as compared to conventional structures, by using spectrally selective glazing and energy-efficient HVAC, lighting fixtures and appliances. A rooftop solar photovoltaic system will generate sufficient amount of power to satisfy most of the building's remaining energy need.

There is a growing interest in occupying environmentally sensitive structures, and Green Valley Lofts will offer its tenants the opportunity to do so.
