A Quiet Relaxing Safe Community
After reading the reviews, I felt as if I needed to write one myself to set the record straight. Yes, there were many building defects but those defects have been corrected. Is Jasmine perfect? Before I answer that, let me as YOU this......Is YOUR home perfect? If we are both honest the answered would be NO. Jasmine unfortunately was built like apartments so sound is an issue. The only way to get around that is to get to know your neighbors and communicate with one another and respect one another. I completely agree with the review of if you are thinking of purchasing/renting in Jasmine, know the CC&R and Rules. Not all CC&R and Rules are for everybody. I love living in Jasmine! I have tried to make Jasmine a warm family friendly community and the phrase it takes a village will it takes a Jasmine community!

BIG mistake choosing this community!
NOSEY neighbors who have no life of their own that try to get in your business all the time and look for something to gossip about. This place is full of loud loitering people and noisy parties all night long with no regard for other residents. The Security is a joke!!! The security guard like to join in on the noise and loitering and parties instead of putting an end to it and the management and HOA does absolutely NOTHING about it and will not even respond. The HOA sure likes to walk around looking for things to charge you for but are no where to be found when there's people partying and loitering. Just read the other reviews. The one good review was written by the person from HOA. SAD! DO NOTTTTTT MOVE HERE! It's ghetto. Can't go outside with someone getting in your business. Where are you going? What are you doing? Your kid looks sad. ITS A JOKE! Can't stay inside without the constant noise of loud loitering people and parties that they do nothing about. No different than living in low income housing with all the noise and thugs and partying and loitering. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Living in Jasmine Condos 2020
I've lived in Jasmine with my husband since 2014 and we love it. It was the first time that we'd lived in a multi-family complex in 40 years, so we had to make some adjustments to having neighbors living so close around us again, so it took a minute or two. The neighborhood, for the most part, is calm and quiet, as so many condos are owner-occupants who now who enjoy living here, but even the families who rent are nice. When we first moved in, a lot of units were still owned and rented out by investors who had purchased them during the recession, but many have been sold through the years. Jasmine's HOA board invests a great deal of their time in keeping our buildings and grounds looking beautiful, so we have a beautiful place to live. (As a matter of fact, all of 22 of our buildings are being painted and updated right now). It's true, we can have conflicting opinions with our HOA's at times, but my husband and I would never move anywhere without an HOA. On the other hand, I can't imagine being on the board and having so many people frustrated with ME!! I've come to the conclusion that each one is my neighbor serving the neighborhood and anyone who wants it done better should join the board. I'm grateful for all they do for us and don't take it any of it for granted. Back to the area itself: We have nice grassy areas to walk dogs with doggie-can stations around the complex, which gets quite a bit of traffic that we view from our dining area! We also have a good number of seniors living here, which is why we moved here. We have a large park next door and we can access the walking path across from us, as well. The gym is just okay and could use an upright exercise bike to complete the exercise experience, but I don't think that's a priority, due to the cost of the equipment, plus space availability (my reason for giving three stars on amenities). I think one of the other things that attracted us here, besides that it's gated, is that the architecture won't be outdated anytime in the future, as the buildings are very contemporary. If you want to live in a lovely neighborhood and don't mind following the rules in the CC&R's (that you will agree to and sign before you move in), then Jasmine is the place for you!

Landmark unlimited, hoa board and bitter owners
This management corporation does not have any integrity all. The hoa are hypocrite not knowing any laws outsite thier CCR's.<br/>Owners are ignorant concerning privacy acts. I trully regret purschasing a condo in this community.

JASMINE CONDOS- Construction Defects,Useless HOA, Meddlesome Neighbors= NIGHTMARE!
These condo's may see nice at first glance, but they are a headache! The HOA LIES about everything from repairs, to pest control even when I purchased the condo ...HOA didn't disclose their construction defect litigation), and they don't support their residents that pay their dues ON TIME! 75% of the residents are nosey, sloppy and disrespectful (people have the nerve to make false reports and top thier overflowing trash bins with their garbage. STAY AWAY!!!!

Living in Jasmine
If you are a non smoker be aware that the CC&R are not going to protect you from second hand smoke by other tenants in the units. I live in a one bedroom & suffer from asthma; my neighbors garage is under my bedroom and they have a couch in the garage where they smoke and all the drifting smoke goes into my unit directly above. I can barely breathe & I have asthma. I just took a refinance on my unit prior to this woman moving in and now although I have asked multiple times for the occupants to smoke else where they refuse use the front outside of the unit to smoke.

All & all it’s been ok
I’m an original owner. I bought the place in 2007. There were some problems with the construction, but nothing too major. The builders went out of business long ago, so there is no recourse. Many problems started when the original owners sold or lost their properties. The HOA did what they could, but ended up throwing up their arms. They have not been able to keep board members and they have changed property management companies several times through the years. Apartments are very noisy, depending on neighbors. Some 2 bedroom apartments have too many people in them and smoking is a major issue. As I write this my neighbor is chain smoking, I can’t breathe, my cats are sick from the heavy smoke too. Ive asked for help from the property manager, and was told to move or rent my place out, as EG has no non smoking laws..Jeez, I think they’re overworked! No security.. I’ve had several pkgs. stolen and a. $500 window broken. On the other hand, I’ve met some very nice people, the landscape is very nice and I do mostly feel safe. The pool/spa area is very nice & clean. The gym is small, but very good.. My wish is that they would vote to make this a non-smoking community. I’m very tired of washing and Re washing the smoke out of my clothing!
