The place is miserable! They have HOA type people all over just making accusations against you if you are not part of the HOA click. There is a unique group of old, miserable, human beings who absolutely hate their lives and will do everything except mind their own business. Nobody is really neighborly. I sometimes wonder how all these old people lived so long while hating everything so much. <br/><br/>Do not waste your time or money at an unit in here....I will be a miserable experience!

Affordable Quality Resort Living and Perfect Location!
I love living at Mission de los Arroyos - It is absolute perfect resort living without the inflated price tag. The grounds are beautiful, feature mature trees and are well kept, the clubhouse, pools and tennis courts are fantastic. The people are friendly and HOA hardly noticeable - although always there to help when needed. My condo features high level ceilings and is situated for great privacy (hard to find in most condo complexes). Overall, I find living at Mission a dream... the location is superb and it is the best value in Scottsdale without skimping on experience. LOVE LOVE LOVE it here!!!<br/>

Very nasty, mean , unintelligent people in HOA
I usually dont write reviews . However, my family rented a condo in this apartment complex and it was one of the worse<br/>choices ever made. The quality of life and community here is disturbed by a handful of HOA older guys with nothing better to do than actively seek out ways to make your life miserable. I could go on in detail to tell you stories of how apartment owners have illegally been foreclosed on , cars illegally removed from parking lot, enforcements / fines for matters that are made up...i could write a book on the abuse of power by a few sociopaths who are truly out of control and can unbelievably get away<br/>with it.This is definately not a place for young families with children. The treatment of younger children is intolerable. The actual location, grounds, style of buildings are wonderful - as are the people that live there who are not apart of the Dictatorship . The pools are large and there is so much going for the place apart from the management.I share the same thoughts with many people that still live there - which is that it is a terrible shame that management/HOA make living there a complete nightmare.

The president of the HOA is a dictator
The neighbors are great. The facility is some what maintained but the problem is the president of the HOA. He is a rude, unapproachable man on a power trip. If you have any sort of issue, he will avoid you like the plague and then go out of his way to create problems for you. He spends his free time trying to make tenants completely miserable. It is a shame to have such a nice place being run by a power hungry dictator!
