What a great place to live!
Palm Cove is a terrific place to live--nice people, beautiful lake views, great location. The walking/jogging/biking path goes on for miles (all the way to Tempe Town Lake). I have really enjoyed bird watching--great egrets, great blue heron, black-crowned night heron, and waterfowl of many varieties, besides three species of doves, several species of hummingbirds, and a variety of songbirds. Some nest here, many migrate through. Lake Magerite is beautiful (and full) all year round, unlike some of the golf course lakes. I love the desert vegetation, but I also love the pine trees and blue waters on view here. There are restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and world class medical care at the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale Campus just a few miles away. The community is surrounded by exceptionally good golf courses. Gyms, tennis courts, grocery stores, Costco, Sam's Club, malls and downtown Scottsdale are within a few miles. Easy access to the 101 Loop make driving to more distant points in the Phoenix Metropolitan area much quicker. Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is 15-20 minutes away.

weirdo in unit#2001
Great place but this weird lady who lives in unit 2001 upstairs is a peeping tom and she is very weird. She walks her poor dog and actually talks to herself and answers herself as well. I believe she is from Dixon California and she might have some mental issues but she is a nut case she is old but still she scared my daughter because she was having a conversation with a rock one day and it was a pretty strange sight. I mean I see these sort of people on TV I think she needs some medication but she is a weird lady she growled at my daughter.She needs to go to the mental ward.
