THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!

This is absolutely the worst community to live at. First off the management is extremely strict. You WILL get fined for everything possible. We were fined over $100 for using the pool at 10:30, mind u, the pool closes at 10, they took pictures of us leaving our apartment and entering the pool at appx 10:30, how ridiculous is that.

They even have security guards acting as cops with speedguns in the parking garage. If they catch you going more than 10 miles an hour they will fine you over $150.

When we were moving out, we borrowed their dolly, it was POS from walmart. We returned it that night and they claimed that we stole the dolly. They fined us another $65.

When you move in they demand a $1,000 deposit so they can just fine the sh*t out of you.

Dont live here its horrible. I wish I listened to all my friends who told me the same before I moved in.

This is a wonderful community and well maintained

This is a wonderful place to live. It is clean, and quiet. The Concierge is not very helpful, but security is wonderful. The security is wonderful. It is safe, affordable, clean, and beautiful. Yes, they have rules, but none that are outlandish. No, you don't get fined all the time as the other person said. This is a wonderful place, I am so happy I finally found home:) Oh, and the water access is beautiful, and there are tons of jobs for me here. Who could ask for anything more?

Parkcrest is an excellent place to live

Parkcrest is a beautiful building in an ideal location. What is there not to like!? The security is wonderful, and as long as you are not throwing Keg Parties and annoying your neighbors, in other words "Deserving of a Fine" you wont have to worry about fines (Like the first review mentioned). I highly reccommend this building, I lived there for 5 years and recently moved to a house in South Tampa, but I will always cherish and remember my time at PC!

    I HATE THIS PLACE!

This place is TERRIBLE! I've lived here for a year and I'm FINALLY moving out at the end of the week. I've had a miserable experience here and would never recommend Park Crest to anyone. On the 7th floor I've had cockroaches, broken appliances and they have the worst staff I've ever experienced. They are beyond rude. The hussy at the front desk is condescending and has an attitude that makes you want to slap her in the face. I'm pretty sure the security guards are not allowed to smile because I haven't seen a single one even try to fake one. They are nobodys who don't have any authority in society and feel the need to practice control over all residents. If you live on the 8th floor you have to drive up 8 ramps every single time you need to go to your apartment. If you forgot something and need to grab it there is absolutely nowhere to park for a quick trip. If you park ANYWHERE but your assigned spot you are FINED! They fine everybody for everything they possibly can. You can't have ANY food or drinks on the premises besides your apartment. This includes the courtyard and the pool. I've never complained about anywhere I've lived, anywhere I've eaten, or any kind of service or product I've been provided... but I HATE this place.

    Fines

This place is fine crazy. They don't give you any warnings they just slap you with fines. I was fined for putting up a Halloween decoration a day early and other nonsense like that. Maybe they should focus their energy and attention on real problems such as wet floors, dirty smelly carpet, broken garage door for 3 years, and their cracked leaking building.

I have lived here for 10 years and it is a great place. It is clean, tidy, and security is great! Yes, they have rules and we must abide by them. The rules of keeping your trash where it should be and not parking where you are not supposed to makes it a great place. If we didn't have rules it would be loud, trash would be everywhere, and it would diminish the beauty of the condo. The pool area is amazing, absolutely beautiful all the time. The area is amazing you can walk everywhere to Amalie Arena, Publix, the Aquarium, Children's Museum, and Channelside, or take the trolley to Ybor, and the boat to St.Pete. or the water taxi to restaurants. It's a fun place. Also, the schools are great too, that is why I moved here.

    Mama

I have lived in the building since 2009. This building was originally built as a rental and because of that it had some growing pains as it turned into a condominium . However over the years they re-decorated the hallways, the outside of the buildings they fixed up a number of defects and turned it into a building of which the owners can now be proud .. I’ve read here complaints about roaches I’ve never seen one in 11 years. I once some tiny tiny ants but they disappeared after the easy treatment . like any place in Florida there arw palmetto bugs and they’re outside growing on the trees which are sprayed consistently but if you leave your windows and balcony doors open without a screen I can imagine one flying in . inside the original construction of the apartment left some less than desirable details which if you buy there are easy to redo . I personally have replaced all my screen doors in my windows with hurricane proof glass I put in better flooring I’ve upgraded my bathrooms and the kitchen it was an investment but the building has been well taken care of. . there are some rules and fines but there for the benefit of everyone who lives here we all try to be good neighbors and respectful of each other‘s properties and it makes it a nice place to live . there’s an opportunity here for privacy if you prefer they have a meeting area where they try to get neighbors together for events and there are meetings to make important decisions and they try to please everyone and listen to all . For the uninitiated a condominium anywhere it’s a difficult place to live if you want to be completely independent. it’s not an independent environment you live in a big house with others it this particular one is better than most .

PARKCREST is a great place to live

PARKCREST is a great place to live I have lived here since 2009 as like another reviewer it has had some difficulties along the way since it was started as a rental however they have upgraded the building. it’s location is the best in Tampa if you wanna live downtown it has privacy and yet it’s not right next to a convention center they have decorated the place nicely the garage has to be respected people have their own spaces if you park in someone else’s space they cannot get in themselves. Since driving in the garage is a two-way systen you need to go at 10 miles an hour unless you want to have a head on collision ,so people respect that .there is no one out there fining you if you go faster perhaps they should because people do but it’s not regulated. It has a pool with rules and like every other swimming pool in any building you need to follow them. I have never seen a cockroach in all these years never there are occasional palmetto bugs and the place is constantly sprayed I live on The Garden side so I should know. The people at the desk are absolutely lovely and helpful, management is great and supportive. you could not live in a nicer building It has a good community there have been a few odd people along the way but any community has those. If you want to live in a condominium and share space with others this is a great place to live if you don’t want to respect the rules of which make sense for everyone then you need to live in a private home. The amenities are great the island has a sense of lovely privacy there’s a few good restaurants a minute away, a hotel right across the boulevard for friends and family to stay and good food.
