you are buying the rights to a lease, not a deed, so you don’t have any rights — you are a tenant and you are treated like a tenant by the board members.— this co-op building should be converted to a condominium in order to give neighbors value — The board has set too many restrictive rules and regulations— south, serving in order to establish control — hard to sell any apt because it’s all cash, no renting, no pets, and no bank inspections required — aging building with no repairs to infrastructures to speak of — the philosophy is to patch instead of replace — the roof is at least 25 years old and is sagging — good neighbors but unfortunately no competent board members which comes because it’s a tiny building of 22 with few qualified candidate choices — the management company is Phoenix which on surface is a token as the 5 board’s members actually run the business — the building is known as a dramaville as confirmed by several neighbors because of all the drama…… and it’s been that way for decades, because the majority of the building is operated by snowbirds that only visit a few weeks out of each year… at this current writing, there are seven units for sale out of only 22 available units….
