Great Value for your $$$, middle of Waikiki
One of the tallest Condo bldg. in Waikiki. Love the simple proximity to the beach, high end shops next street, on Kalakaua and a great variety of eateries and shopping experiences near by. Some of the reviews I have read unfortunately reflect the fact that some visitors do not realize the Royal Kuhio is NOT a Hotel and never was. There are a couple of 'time share' companies in the bldg. and some owners rent their condos out as 'Vacation Rentals'. If you want a concierge service and bell hops or have a restaurant on the premises you should book at a normal hotel. If you want to save some serious cash check out the units available. BUT the quality and cleanliness will depend 100% on each individual owner. Check the photos. <br/><br/>The Kuhio has a nice manger and has security 24/7, but they work for the bldg. Uneducated guest thinks they work for the quest. Bldg has parking w the units, thank goodness. You don't know how hard it is to have parking available. When was the last time you were downtown in LA or NY. Talk about parking expense. <br/> I have stay as a guest in several type of units, this bldg has the biggest pent houses and top floor 2 bedrooms I have seen. I like the stays enough to buy here as my second home. Hope this info helps and have a great time. Life is good..........
