    The Mutiny is a prime example of pros and cons that come with Condo Hotel living.

    I lived at the Mutiny for 2 years when I first moved to Miami.<br/><br/>1. The amenities were great. Nice pool and spa surrouned by lush tropical palm trees and plants. Also a nice waterfall. I loved the restaurant and bar. Instead of normal keys, I had an electronic key. This came in handy because whenever I lost a key that could easily create new ones which would automatically disable the old ones. The concierge was great and always treated me very well, even though I was a resident and not a hotel guest. The gym was ok, but dumbbells were always stolen and machines seemed to always break. Finally, I had a nice penthouse with my own private rooftop and personal hot tub. You gotta love that.<br/><br/>2. The Mutiny is located in the heart of Coconut Grove. I was within a block of the best restaurants, clubs and bars in town. With Cocowalk right next door, I was also very close to many stores and a movie theater. Add to that an Improv comedy club and a nice open field. The location would have been perfect if we weren't so close to the Southwest more dangerous area of Coconut Grove where lots of crime occurs.<br/><br/>3. The price was ok, but nothing special.<br/><br/>4. One bad thing about living in the Condo Hotel, was that management did not take care of my problems as quickly as a someone who booked a hotel room. I was never the priority. Living in a penthouse I always had leak issues that were never fixed. Also my hottub broke every month.<br/><br/>5. I met a couple friends while living at the Mutiny. Since it was a condo hotel, though, there just weren't that many residents who I could get to know. Also there were only a couple resident events in the time I lived there.

    The wrong way of living

    I had very high expectations when I moved into this place. Lots of things were terrible, here is my list:<br/><br/>1. Microwave was shacked<br/>2. Had to fix the tub cover all by myself<br/>3. Could not reach landlord<br/>4. Realtor lady was rude when I contacted her about all my problems<br/>5. Had to find my own electrician (did not get reimbursed yet)<br/>6. Very loud people above me, move furniture at midnight (think they got OCD)<br/>7. Water pressure is terrible<br/>8. Toilet leaked and made a terrible noise, had to fix that myself as well!<br/>9. Loud parties by the pool late night!<br/>10. Very annoying frogs, keep me up, can't sleep with the window open due to no screens<br/><br/><br/>And the list could go on and on! Buyer BEWARE!
