DO NOT PURCHASE AS LONG AS CAROLYN NISSEN IS SELLER'S AGENT!!!
We recently purchased a condo here. Seller's agent CAROLYN COFFEE NISSEN is the WORST "PROFESSIONAL" we have ever dealt with. Shoddy, late, lazy, selfish, greedy, and uncaring about anyone who purchases. She arrived very late the day after we closed/funded with flimsy excuses and a screaming three-year-old in tow, having also arranged to meet prospective buyers at the same time. She danced back and forth between us, and failed to bring our garage openers, provide us with our assigned parking spots in the garage (which we PURCHASED by CONTRACT), and assured us she'd send us e-mail later that evening. She didn't. (Of course not -- she NEVER responds when she says she will, and her answers are cavalier, unprofessional, and uninformative). We emailed her the next day. No word. She finally got back to us later in the evening (mind you, our purchase had funded and she should have had everything ready to surrender to us the day before) to report, in a blase and nonchalant manner, with no apology, that, gee, they had sold us garage parking spots they didn't actually have available, so she would offer us one outside. We had to get our attorney involved since this was clear breach of the real estate contract. When we registered our strong objections and got our attorney involved, all she could do was whine, over and over, "It's not my fault! It's not my fault!" She's the seller's agent: who's fault is it, then? She is lazy and take NO responsibility for her job. WE HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH A MORE LAZY AND UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON in any aspect of our lives. Ever. Now that we have moved in, we had to put in a request for warranty service owing to the fact that the tub was not properly sealed -- we need it sealed and inspected for damage. The form says to wait 14 days, then call a certain phone number. We waited 20 days. We called. Guess who's voice was on the voicemail? Of course. She is FAR too lazy and unprofessional to respond or take action. We probably will have to get our attorney involved again. This is ridiculous. She should lose her real estate license. Clearly it means nothing to her (other than money) as she is completely devoid of standards, ethics, and professionalism. AVOID THIS PLACE UNTIL THEY GET A REAL, PROFESSIONAL SELLER'S AGENT OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!
