This is nothing short of disheartening....in 3 yrs the garage doors are constantly broken on the north side of the building....Deanna Martin property manager is not doing a good job of maintaining the integrity of the building structure for there are countless stains in the carpets throughout the building where there is carpet... also the furniture in the vantage room is falling apart and the pool table has never been cleaned and brushed and the poker table has stains from spills that have never been cleaned ....and time and time again during the winter time,.winds keep the 2 side street lobby entrances partially open and some times homeless people come in off the streets to keep warm i checked with fairfax police and there is constant police presence at 8190 strawberry lane......This is just a few issues to name,i'm glad i didn't invest my hard earned money in one of these very tiny units for that would have been money wasted!......in short please look else where for i was very disappointed that a building that has only existed since 2007 could be in such a state of disrepair!
I lived @ the vantage for a period of 1/year and it was becoming very noisy with the surrounding construction and constant flow of traffic coming in from gallows rd.I thought it was just on weekends when i first moved in but quickly realized that it was 7/days a week and with the demolition of the multiplex & with the road being closed this makes it a lot trickier to find parking especially during lunch and dinner times in the garage.I will also enclose pictures of of the construction & conditions of this 2 year long problem.
I have live at Advantage for a little over a year and have been dealing with the noise from the gym since. Managment has attempted to remedy the issue without sucess. Personally, I am so tired of coming home to the constant noise. I was not in my lease indicating I would have to deal with the on going noise from Xsport. I suggest, if you are considering moving into Advantage, please ensure you select the building that is not over the gym. You will regret it and you will not get any result from complaining to managment. Overall rating is fair
This condo apartments are not all good. The apartments itself are old and it depends on the condo owner to make updates. I have stayed in 2 condos in this same block. My current condo is a good with hardwood floors and clean plumbing. My first condo apartment was not good where bugs used to come out of the bathroom sink. I had to call in pesticide folks and even then after 6 months the problem reoccured which was when I decided to move. There are also sewage leaks from the kitchen. Last week a pipe burst because of 1 kitchen sink clogging and the apartments above, below, adjacent had problems with flooding.<br/><br/>When you are looking to rent or buy, make sure you do a full check-up. These condos are over 10 years old. The management itself is good, managed by Bozzuto and they host activities but the condo owners are responsible for maintenance, renovation of the actual apartment itself.
