Doesn't make sense at at all
People who manage this building don't make any sense at all. There are assigned parking spaces allocated to each car, and if you are closed to someone from management or board memnbers (I am not sure.), you can park your car anywhere you want. I have lived there almost 2 years and there are so many kids running around the swimming pool and shouting, yelling, making a big mess all the time. And you are responsible for paying the high maintenance fee to cover these stupidities caused by unresponsible parents who are supposed to be watching kids when they are at the swimming pool. Does this make sense to you?

Problems with Association
They change the rules all the time. It used to be better and more quiet. Now, if the president of association wants to have a party at the swimming pool for his personal use, they will take full advantage of it. This was not a part of the rules, but it seems to be that board members can change the rules according to their needs. Also, there are some people who work for the building and are connected to each other. If you complain about certain things anonymously, they will find out who you are because they have no respect or common sense to deal with complains or confidential information. If you are trying to buy or rent this property, you should tolerate the noise and unreasonable situations.

First off, there is zero parking for guests. This building has an empty garage, and for whatever reason, its blocked off leaving you to try your luck and hope there isn't someone out side parked like an idiot taking up 2 spaces. I once had to park at the Starbucks on Biscayne and I pay rent here! The gym is extremely out dated and has been closed down for months with paint cans just laying around. The "maintenance" guys stay down stairs all day drinking beer and smoking, what seems like, marijuana all day. If you have a problem with something in your apartment the first question you're asked is if you rent or own. If your renting your told to take it up with the land lord and that's it. The walls in the mailroom have been removed over two months ago (and have still not been replaced) due to mold, so who knows what's lurking in the apartment walls. The pool has been shut down and roped off multiple times by the health inspector. They have recently hired a security guards who just sits in his car watching videos on his phone. The "bike rack" they like to use as a selling point is full of rusty bikes like look like they've been there for years, it is also surrounded by junk that people have dumped there. Don't get me wrong, our actual apartment was great. But the building, their parking situation, the staff and there "amenites" are not worth the money or getting locked into a 12 month lease. The bad greatly out weighs the good at Vecino Del Mar.
