Villa Fontanas - Right Price But Wrong Property
After visiting this complex with a client of mine it was clear that the builder does not like working with real estate professionals like myself. Their sales agents made it a point to circumvent all questions that I posed for my clients such as developer warranties and neighbor concerns. These were both valid concerns since we saw some stucco and flooring pealing off in spots and the mental health facility that looks more like a prison right next door. Once inside some of the units we learned that our sales person was from some other building and did not know this building to well. <br/><br/>Across the way from this complex is a great big construction area that looks like it stopped construction a few years back and have not made any progress since. She also told us that they at one time planned to build a park in that area.(Funny, I thought She Was New). <br/><br/>After looking over the amenities like the pool and the gym versus the cost and the inevitable HOA - Developer litigation that most likely will follow I would recommend that buyers stay away. There are plenty of condos with well established HOA's that have the same if not better amenities then what can be found at Villa Fontana's. <br/>
