    ATROCIOUS property management

    The condos and property are pretty and our landlord is GREAT. But Rodney (on-site May Management Avanti parking enforcer/handyman) and the people at May Management (except for the girl who answers the phone) are rude and unprofessional. I don't know what homeowners are paying them to "manage" their property, but I guarantee it is too much. I would rate the amenities, location and price at 4-5 but that would bring up the "overall rating" score and that completely defeats the purpose of what I am trying to convey.<br/><br/>The below excerpt from May Management's home page is a joke and I am sure it was written while the author was hysterically laughing:<br/><br/><br/>�We believe the Client comes first, and all our efforts are directed toward satisfying the client�s requirements. We advise, guide and protect our clients; and are proactive by anticipating and resolving concerns of the association�<br/><br/>�We expect each of our employees to always have a positive attitude. We believe every problem is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our professionalism.�<br/><br/>Our Mission is to provide our clients with outstanding management services that maintain and increase the property values through careful management of the community�s assets, thorough accounting and careful maintenance of properties.<br/><br/><br/><br/>- Annie Marks, President<br/><br/>

    May Management voted out by board of directors effective 10/31/12

    When checking my mail a few days ago, I received something from May Management that was sent to all of the residents of Avanti. Apparently the Board of Directors voted to terminate their management services effective 10/31/12 and use an entirely different management company based out of Orange Park starting 11/1/12. It seems enough people shared the same sentiment about May Management that it came down to a vote resulting in their dismissal. <br/><br/>I had filed the complaint with the Better Business Bureau on principle, knowing that May Management had no intention of reimbursing us the $190. it cost to retrieve my daughter's illegally towed vehicle. I wonder how much the termination of their management services with Avanti cost them? I wish them well and hope they revamp their customer service practices.
