Beautiful Building, in the wrong place
The Healey Building is a beautiful architectural jewel, and the idea of transforming it from offices to condos back in 2000 was not bad, the problem was where the building is located, Atlanta. Bought my condo back in 2010 and lived there ok, right away you realize that the amount of HOA you pay is high for what you get; no amenities, not even parking, and a whole lot of problems, and the CMA management company, totally absent and ignorant of what happens in the building. There are a lot of problems, no preventive maintenance, and barely any cleaning, residents and homeowners are fleeing the building as they can. I don't think I would know anybody if I go and visit today. I sold my unit after the second shooting right outside the building's doors, across the street by the courthouse. I witnessed the other shooting from my window at the J.R. Crickets. In the several years I owned my condo, only one time the CMA got the exterior of the windows cleaned, only once. I had a beautiful view of the city, unfortunately, my condo was like an beautiful paradise island in an ocean of garbage, filth, and decay.
